Buddhism 101 Online Class

Interested in learning more about Buddhism? North America YAD is hosting an online Buddhism course that covers the fundamentals of Buddhism. Open to all YAD members and friends who are 14-35 years old.

Course outline:

1. Introduction
2. Life of the Buddha
3. Four Noble Truths
4. Noble Eightfold Path
5. Dependent Origination
6. Twelve Links of Dependent Origination I
7. Twelve Links of Dependent Origination II
8. Karma

This is an independent study course, hence members can complete the courses at their own pace. This coursework will be available through Google Classrooms online.

For those interested in becoming a White Elephant Executive, completing this online coursework is mandatory. Completion deadline is set for end of March, 2021.

San Francisco YAD will be hosting watch parties for these classes on Wednesdays every two weeks for those who've registered. The watch party is optional to attend, but it's more fun when we watch it together and have someone to discuss with!
