Thought of the month: Chores for going into a new year

It is past thanksgiving, which means in about 30 days, it will be Christmas, and another 7 days, New Year. When holidays as such comes, we often prepare food, clothes, decorations, and also clean the house. At the same time, we must also feed our minds, change our habits, build our character, and build affinities with others. That way, the new year will be prosperous for us. #thoughtofthemonth #newyear

Thought of the month: Gratitude brings you far

Thought of the month: Gratitude brings you far. When we think about success, we normally think about our own efforts, how much effort we put in, how much time we spent, how much work we did. How often do we contemplate the right affinities needed to make that happen? How much gratitude do we show to these affinities? It boils down to our sincerity and self-awareness. The purity of your actions, speech, and thoughts that comes from the heart will bring you further than you ca

Though of the month: Personal growth is in your mundane chores

Though of the month: Personal growth is in your mundane chores. Growth, or another word I wish to substitute cultivation, is in our mundane chores. If we seek growth outside, in others, we will not find it. Only within our daily life, and in our chores, can we find room to grow. Attending courses will only give you knowledge of the method. without personally attending to the method and the chores, we will only wish for imaginary outcomes. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Picking yourself up

Sometimes we fall. Sometimes, we fall hard. Things may not go our way, and we become affected by setbacks. What's more important is, that after you fall, know how to get back up. You can ask for help, or get back up yourself. But in any case, get back up, and continue walking forward. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: It's the start of something new

It is the new year already. As we approach this year, have we thought of doing something new for a change? Maybe getting out of our comfort zone. Sometimes, doing something we are not comfortable with may be an exciting journey. Every event in every part of our lives are possible venture for us to gain confidence, courage, joy, and wisdom. Who knows, the next thing you try could be a valuable experience that will open your mind to life. #new #confidence #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Have we surpass ourselves this year?

The year is coming to an end. One question we have to ask to check-in with ourselves is whether we surpassed ourselves in this year. Achievements in our studies, work, and so on means one thing. More importantly, how have we changed? Have we formed good habits, and reduce the number of bad habits? Have we improved our relationships with people around us? Have we come out of our comfort zone more this year? There is a lot of self-examination to do. A beautiful life is about ch

Thought of the month: To grow spiritually, we should take care of our communication with people

To grow spiritually, we should take care of our communication with people around us. All the meditation, practices we do, what are we doing them for? Growth is how we communicate with people around us, how we resolve our problems around us. Respect for others, praising others, and communication are key to spiritual growth. If we lack in these, we can supplement with self-reflection. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Life is defined by the next thought

Many of us define life by the end, or what we want to achieve. Some want to be happy, successful, stable family, contributing to our country or society. Here's something I'd like to share. Life can be thought of as the beginning rather than the end. It could be in the next breath that you take, the next thought you have, or the next action you take. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Keeping a beginner's mindset to keep us going

Many times we lose interest, motivation, or the drive to continue doing something we set out to achieve, be it in meditation, cultivation, our hobbies, interests, or work. One reason is that we think that we know what we are doing already, and hence see those things as chores. To keep us going, we should keep a beginner's mindset, so as to remember the initial motivation that led us to to do that thing. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Not giving rise to discrimination at all times

No matter what we do, or who we encounter, we should not give rise to discrimination. Do not think that "He's able to do that because he's more capable", or "I'm not going to eat/do this because it is not suitable for my taste". Such thoughts or distinctions between "you, I, me, them, likes or dislikes" block us from developing our characters. #thoughtofthemonth

Thought of the month: Using our minds properly

If we encounter obstacles or conflicts, we may think "Why haven't I accomplish anything? I've been working on this for so long!". If these situation rises, we should contemplate on the causal ground: Have we used our minds properly during this matter? Have we made use of the opportunities we have, and gave our 100% effort on it? If we have, maybe the affinity for success has not come yet. Fret not, and continue ahead. If we have not, we shouldn't worry either. Put your faith
